I am re-reading one of my favourite books, “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy. It is a book I have read many times over the years and it always gives me a boost and new ideas every time I read it. It’s a great little book and still in print. Reading the book prompted me to type a couple of statements into Google to find what others were thinking: 154,000,000 people had asked “Why aren’t my plans working”, whilst 967,000,000, typed in “Success at last” or similar. He points out planning and believing in yourself are essential for success.
Several years ago we decided that we would, within a couple of years or so, spend our winters in a warmer climate, no more cold and dreary winters for us. We have decided on Spain partly because my daughter already has a house there.
So winters in the sun, returning to England in the summer months to catch up with friends and families will be our new way of life
Well our dream is almost complete; we have a month to go before our life in Spain begins. This summer we moved into our summer retreat, a mobile home in the Lincolnshire countryside. Within a short stroll we can access 5 acres of fishing lakes and wooded area, where wildlife abounds. Our house purchase in Spain is almost complete, we just have to book our ferry crossing and our adventure begins.
Friends and family are planning trips to visit us over the months ahead and soak up some of the 300 days of sunshine too. Things really do come to fruition if you stick with your plans and constantly work towards them, and most importantly visualise them as you would like them to become.
Do you have long–held dreams? Do you really believe you can achieve them? Are you moving in the right direction to fulfil them? Believe in yourself, take some calculated risks, you only have one life-span fill it with your dreams.
Here is a quote from the book to encourage you: “The principle reason for failure are: lack of confidence and too much effort… When you know how your mind functions you gain a measure of confidence”. Read the book and learn the way to achieve your dreams with less effort.
Another dream, was to start my own hobby business and work at home, this I have done which will bring us some welcome funds for our new way of life. There are so many businesses you can start online now, that offer you the freedom to work more or less where you want to with a laptop and internet connection; starting an online store, eBay, or surveys, match betting, or trading,. These are just a few of the possibilities. Make a Google search for ideas, in fact 893,000,000 people are doing just that today!
One of the simplest ways for virtually anyone is affiliate marketing, to make it easier for yourself you need a good mentor with excellent products to offer your customers. This enables you to earn whilst you learn the techniques, you can build a nice income but it takes a while to build your own regular customers. A mentor gives you support and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
So whatever your dreams make your plans and turn your dreams into reality. It will give you a new interest and meaning to your life. I would like to wish you success in your new venture. I would be delighted to hear your comments.
